Children's Supervisor We have an opportunity for a flexible individual to join our school as a Children’s supervisor. The role will be to provide support for our pupils across a range of areas including lunchtimes. The candidate will require a good standard of practical knowledge and skills and be physically able to meet the demands of the role. A qualification in childcare would be advantageous but not essential, however the ability to support and supervise pupils will need to be demonstrated. Main Purposes of the Role: To ensure, individually or as part of a team, the welfare and safety of all children remaining within school grounds or buildings during lunch times. To provide care and supervision to pupils, including those who have special physical, emotional and educational needs. Defford and Besford CE Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check DBS, formerly CRB, medical clearance and suitable references.
