Teaching Assistant + SEN Allowance

30 hours per week Monday - Friday (term time only)

We are seeking a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join our school who will provide support to an individual named child, helping them thrive both academically and socially, and also assisting across a whole class.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of child development and effective strategies for supporting behavior in a nurturing environment. You will support children’s learning and development in both whole class settings and 1:1 scenarios, providing tailored assistance to children with additional needs. You will foster a positive and creative learning atmosphere. 

Under the guidance of the SENCo and teaching staff, you will help to bridge communication gaps, foster confidence, and ensure inclusivity within the learning environment.

The successful candidate will need to undertake an enhanced criminal record check DBS, formerly CRB, medical clearance and suitable references.

Children's Supervisor

We have an opportunity for a flexible individual to join our school as a Children’s supervisor.  The role will be to provide support for our pupils across a range of areas including lunchtimes.

The candidate will require a good standard of practical knowledge and skills and be physically able to meet the demands of the role.  A qualification in childcare would be advantageous but not essential, however the ability to support and supervise pupils will need to be demonstrated.

Main Purposes of the Role:

To ensure, individually or as part of a team, the welfare and safety of all children remaining within school grounds or buildings during lunch times. To provide care and supervision to pupils, including those who have special physical, emotional and educational needs.
